Karl Oskarsson

Karl Oskarsson is a renowned Director of Photography working on commercials, music promos and feature films. He has shot a number of features in his native Iceland since graduating from the London International Film School, and his latest feature, 3 SEASONS IN HELL, directed by Tomas Masin, premiered in Prague last year. The film is set in Prague, 1947, and is inspired by the fate of one of the best known characters of the Czechoslovak literary scene, Egon Bondy. The feature is set to hit the festival circuit later this year, aided by Karl's success at the Czech Lion Awards 2010 where he won Best Cinematography (he was also nominated in the same category at the Icelandic Edda Awards).
