Baz Irvine

RELATIVITY, directed by Virginia Heath and one of Baz's first shorts, picked up the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival 2002. In 2004 Baz shot SIX SHOOTER directed by Martin McDonagh, which went on to pick up the OSCAR for Best Short Film in 2006. He shot his first feature, LIVES OF THE SAINTS, directed by acclaimed photographer Rankin and his co-director, Chris Cottam that same year, followed by the comedy feature, MR BEAN'S HOLIDAY, directed by Steve Bendelack through Working Title Films. Baz has also shot episodes of SPOOKS, and more recently the short films SLAPPER, directed by Chiwitel Ejiofor, and KING BASTARD, directed by Rufus Norris and starring Peter Mullan.
